Has this autumn been as mad for you as it has been for me? I'm nowhere near getting my holiday decor out, but I still want to make my home a bit festive for the Thanksgiving holiday. In pops our good friend, Audrey Kuether, to the rescue. Check her out at ohsolovelyblog.com.
I know it seems like everyone has their Christmas decor up. If you are like me, and you feel a little behind the ball, or if you are the type that likes to live holiday-to-holiday and need a little inspiration on how to make your fall decor a bit more festive, we'd love to make some fun recommendations, borrowed from our friend Audrey Kuether.
Here are some quick ways to create a cozy and fun fall decor set that feels just festive enough for your Thanksgiving table.
1. Stack your pumpkins
If you are like most of us, you have a fall collection of ceramic, plaid, sequin, and real pumpkins. Just because it is moving into the holiday season doesn't mean you need to put them away. Start with a pretty runner, then stack those pumpkins to fill your space. Whether you do it on your dining table, your mantle or on a table in your entry (as Audrey did below) , you can get some more life out of these pretty decor pieces and move them into the next season.
2. Add Twinkle Lights
Pretty lights make everywhere they touch feel cozy, warm, and magical. Audrey suggested this set on Amazon, just $15.99
3. Add Candles or Wax Warmers for extra cozy
Keeping with the warm and cozy theme, what better way to cozy up your decor than by adding a few candles or wax warmers? No need to break the bank on this- check out bullseye's playground at Target or head to the clearance area and find a few that fit your budget.
4. Add the same small touches in different spaces
Porch. Entryway. Dining table. Bar cart. Fireplace mantle. Take your festive fall theme and spread it throughout the areas you love to decorate in your own home. Consider adding glass bell jars, your own vases and artwork to round out the spaces.
Festive Fall Decor is easy
Still not quite ready to make Christmas happen? With just a few sets of twinkle lights, your own candles and fall decor, you can make your fall decor festive enough for the holiday season.
