The summer season seems to fi-nally be upon us. As the days get longer and warmer, its time to up our game with fun beverages that will help us to stay cool in the hot days of summer. We found this lovely low-carb beverage last summer and could not get enough, so we are sharing it with you!

This low- carb watermelon treat can be made with or without alcohol. Find everything you need and a video tutorial below. Read on!
1. Ingredients
A few big chunks of fresh watermelon, deseeded
A dash of fresh lime juice
Low-calorie sweetener- stevia works well, or you can make a simple syrup, if you prefer a liquid option
Club soda or seltzer water (plain or complementary flavor)
White rum (if you want to use it)
Mint (for garnish)
2. Instructions
Add your watermelon chunks, rum, low-calorie sweetener, and lime juice to a high-power blender.
Once blended, run the mixture through a sieve and separate into glasses. You can skip this step if you don't mind the texture of the watermelon fiber in your drink.
Add some ice to the glass
Top off with seltzer or soda water of your choice
Garnish with mint. Yum!
